Summer holidays - info & planning

We are going for holidays! This means that the lab will be closed, as well as our store. For the online folks, this means that we will not be able to handle any online purchases.

We will be on holidays between 20th July 2025 and 5th August 2025. During this period our shop in Eindhoven will be closed we will not be able to:

• Reply to your messages/mails or answer the phone,
• Deliver any services (i.e. develop film, print photos),
• Accept any mail - this includes any film that may arrive when we are gone,
• Ship any orders placed in our online store.

Given the break time, we will have to perform a lab shutdown combined with annual maintenance of our equipment. This means, that we will stop developing film before we start holidays. Due to above, we introduce cut off times for film development per process. Shop will stay open and it will be still possible to drop your film rolls off.

Planning

The planning for the last week before holidays is as follows:

• 11th July (Saturday)13:00hrs - Cut off time for  E-6 film development,
• 15th July (Wednesday) 13:00hrs - Cut off time for B/W film development,
• 16th July (Thursday) 18:00hrs - Cut off time for C-41 film development.
  
• 17th and 18th July - Shop remains open for business and taking in film rolls for development. Rush development of film will not be possible due to annual maintenance. 

As for ECN-2 development - our queue is already full.

Rolls delivered after above times will be treated as delivered at 6th August and developed within the standard turnaround times.
Rolls delivered before above times will be developed and/or scanned before the holidays.
Example: You bring a C-41 and ECN-2 roll of film at 16th July 14:00hrs - you can expect to receive the scans/negatives of C-41 film before we start the holidays. ECN-2 film will be delivered within two weeks from 5th August. 

Please, do not wait until last moment to develop your film if you need your photos before we are gone. 

Note: In case we will experience an influx of lab jobs, we may not be able to keep the promise of delivering your scans before the holidays. If this is the case you will be informed about it while delivering us your films or when you receive a confirmation that your rolls have been received by us. 

Shipping online/mail orders

Last day for posting any online purchases and/or developed negatives is 18th July. After this date we will not ship any orders. You are welcomed to place online orders while we are gone, your film will wait for you in our cool fridge until we are back. 

If you are planning to ship your film rolls for development to us, please do not post any film rolls between 15th July and 4th August. There will be nobody to accept mail/parcels on site. We may pickup mail if it gets rerouted to a pickup point, but only if it will wait for us until end of 5th August at the parcel shop. If it is the case the parcel gets rerouted to a pickup point, you must as usual, let us know per email at info@analogspace.nl about that. We do not get notices from delivery companies. 

After holidays

Once we are back we expect that we will have hands full of work. In the end everyone will be waiting with their film rolls (we hope so :) ). Be aware that this may impact the development times, meaning that we may run into a delay spanning no more than 3 working days.
